Janette creates a safe, non-competitive space for her students to dive beneath the surface of their daily lives to find deeper meaning and inspiration.
Her classes offer creative sequences with intentional themes, emphasising the importance of proper alignment, pranayama breathing techniques, mindfulness, and meditation. Modification and advanced options are made available for new students and experienced yogis so that all can reach their potential.
She is honored to teach yoga, helping to bring balance, awareness, health, and happiness into other's lives.
JANETTE SAYS:
While hairdressing in North Queensland, I was invited to a yoga class by a friend.I was going to help with back pain from hairdressing. I soon realised the of benefits were much more that physical .Finding a deep calmness and peace.
I have continued a daily practices for more that 25 years.
As a hairdresser I easily connected to people and used that natural ability to connect through yoga.
I have enjoying yoga through out Australia and the world.
I trained with Radiant light yoga in the Sunshine coast for 2 years graduating as a yoga teacher and a yoga therapist .
Studied restorative yoga with Lizzie Lasiter. Yin yoga training with Leonnie Lockwood and many other great teacher in Australia and Bali .
I love deepening my knowledge and my spiritual practise .
I am a qualified heart resonance practitioner to level 3
I love dancing ,singing and walking .
I feel so blessed to share what I love with all who join us at Serenity .
Serenity Space Yoga located in Scarborough on the Redcliffe Peninsula, is a peaceful studio offering yoga, restorative yoga, music, meditation and dance.
